This was something special. Arno Carstens and Albert Frost teamed up for an unplugged show at Studio 7. The two musicians have worked together in the past and it’s always a treat to see them live on stage together, but in such an intimate relaxed setting, it was incredible to see Arno in all his rock glory gell with Albert’s dirty blues soul.
Arno Carstens is an internationally signed, platinum selling, South African singer songwriter, credited as “The Godfather of South African Rock” (Miles Keylock, GQ Magazine) for the role he has played in the South African rock music industry over the past two decades. Albert Frost is well known for his superb guitar skills and has worked with a number of artists over the years, including the likes of Vusi Mahlasela, Koos Kombuis, Valiant Swart, Riku Latti, Louis Mhlanga, Simon Orange and of course, Arno Carstens.
Together they rocked Studio 7, in a way never seen before, and with everyone on their feet, they certainly left their legacy on this intimate venue.
